when i went stadrd1, i stayed away from school for 3months just coz im scared i guess

i cant remember if mum whacked me particilarly for that reason.

finaly she decided to transfer me to a diff new school.
it was some time after that i started going to school(old school).
GOD, i was such a headache.

J, maybe you can try that with ur kid.
once she gets the idea of new centre, she might like it or decide to get on well at current one.

Although I havent got any of my own but i think spanking the little ones is not a good idea. Perhaps punishment like prohibting them from watching their favourite cartoon or playing with their favourite toy for a day or two might help. You have to treat your children with lots of love and correct them by telling themwhy are they being punished.. and so on... we used to implement this on my nieces and it helps.. they ae lovable, good and well mannered children now...

once in while maybe one would maintain fear.
too often makes one numb n fearless.
