Cools cars there Saindian.... I'm a car freak myself.

My daily ride is a Ford TX5 2.5 V6 while my wife drives the BMW 528i.
I have a weekend car NIssan March Superturbo which is a twin charged wonder car having a turbocharger as well as supercharger in a uniquely designed setup. I have built another 4 X 4 vehicle which is the Jeep Cherokee 4 liter (US made) that I have converted the engine to the Japanese race car engine known as the Toyota Supra 1JZ-GTE which puts out about 300 hp!! Very Happy

Bruuuuccccceeee!! welcome aboard.

The Mivec is slightly expensive as its newer than the GSR but you can knock more power out of the GSR. But the GSR will be slightly expensive in maintenence as its turbocharged. So needs servicing every 3000 - 5000 km. Due to extremely high heat generated, needs semi-syn or fully syn oil which are expensive. So overall cost of ownership taken into account, Mivec will be better.

Other choice for ur wira 1.5 would be VR4 (abit old though), EVO I, II or III (better choice but maintenance on the high side) but registering the engine will be problem as there is limit for capacity increament which is set at 25% of the original CC by JPJ.

But as you said better to get as much life out of ur current engine first b4 venturing into transplant work. But clocking 130000 in 3 years seems abit high usage to me. Are you travelling to and fro Seremban on a daily basis?
