The management of a temple can make the changes.
If they disallow people who are not appropriately attired from entering the temple, gradually people would understand and dress up accordingly. |

good idea mirg, but some so called fashion-wannabez will defend it with all kind of BS
Its better if they get embassed in the crowd for wearing such attire. U know, like some1 tell them (eg) :
1."ur skin is not smooth, would u mind covering-up a little"
2. "maybe u should visit the gym before wearing this"
that might get some sense into their head. I know its not polite to say so. but if no politeness in their action, y should we bother? |

We should not degrade ourselves in process of upgrading good values.Being sarcastic or insulting someone's feeling is not a good way of relaying a message. |

true, but its just so irritating to see them making it a common practise at place of worship.
no respect for others including the elders. |

I think the best will be, the committe members of the temple and/or authorised people of the temple should call the person to the temple office and tell them not to wear like this.
If the incharge person were to see the same person again dressed up in the same way.... he/she has the rights to ask the person to leave temple immediately. _________________

actually da fact tat sexy attire is worn to temple is supposed to b individual preference. We go to temple to pray.... so the connection is solely between God and u...... not God, u and everyone else in da temple. So is it really an issue on who is wearing wat? We go to temple for a reason.... to personally see God and ease our burdens to Him...... one mind and one soul. So its not supposed to bother us to see who is wearing wat. If they r comfortable with a sliding door on their back then so b it..... and if u happen to b rite behind them..... then enjoy da view and move on or if not..... close ur eyes.... think of God... tell urself wat's ur main purpose to temple..... and move on. |

Actually it does matter whom wearing what in the temple...suja..
Let's say, if you go to watch a movie, and the person in front of your seat is keep on telling the story to his friend beside him in a very loud voice, how would you feel?
Let's say, if you go to a cozy restaurant to have your dinner with your spouse, and suddenly you find a hyperactive kid jumping from one table to another? how would you feel.
Can we say since we are there to watch the movie/to eat, we should just keep quiet. I don't think so.
We go to a common place for a common goal, so, when you are in public, you must consider 'YIDAM,PORU, YEVAL' , dress and conduct ourselves appropriately so that we don't distract the others.
The sexy sarees are quite distractive (we are only humble and mortal human beings with feelings what). We dont mind if they wear even micro mini skirt, as long as they dont come to temple but visiting a pub.
Again, when we are in a public place, gathered for a common purpose, we should conduct ourselves properly so that the environment will be conducive enough for everyone there.
My humble opinion |

going out wt frenz for shopping, movie or just 4 makan, wear what they wish. we don't complain.
respect needs to be given to place of worship. its still acceptable if the saree is a bit transparent.
what about the extreme cases.if we say anything can be worn, whats the diff between temple and some other places. |

ok guys if dis is da situation wat can we do about it?.... coz not only the young generation r losing their foundation there r also the grown-ups who prefer to b more westernized even if it means coming to temple. Maybe ppl shud adhere to rules and regulations of temple and the way they conduct themselves.... therefore the temple committee shud come up with rules of conduct and if da public dont follow then dont allow them in da temple. They can go and pray in other temples. |
