I strated my novel reading when I was at primary school. Started with the Three Investigators. I think its by Alfred Hitchcock, if I'm not mistaken. Then they had the Malay version of it called the Tiga Penyiasat I think which was a direct translation from the English version. Then I also loved reading comics like Rin Tin Tin, Beano, Dandy etc. _________________ Before you criticize someone, make sure you walk a mile in their shoes. The one is about twin sisters in a boarding school. I cant recall the name.
Not to forhet Enid Blyton (not sure of the spelling). |

Local Tamil novels are published once in a blue moon, but a few hundred novels are published every month in Tamil Nadu. My favourite is Subha and Rajeshkumar. I must have read around 500 of their novels. |

But most of these novels are less than 100 pages, VJeyaa...
Talking about the importance of reading novels, I would say that if you choose the right novel/author, it will make become a better individual. For example, just read John Grisham's novels. You will have the confidence to talk to any lawyers pertaining legal matters and they will be amazed to know that you know so much about legal matters. |

i started off with trixie belden mystery series by enid blyton at age 9. Then came nancy drew, hardy boys, famous five. Nowadays its a mix between Dan Brown (he's amazing as a writer!), Sidney Sheldon, Iris Johanssen, John Grisham, Nora Roberts, Patricia Cormwell... and not forgetting all the Mills&Boons romance novels. A gal has to have a mix of everything.. doesn't she?... |
