MANGO ICE CREAM

Ingredients for Mango Ice Cream:

Milk - 1/2 litre
Milk Powder - 3 tablespoon
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Agar Agar Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Custard Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Mango Pulp - 1/2 cup
Method for Mango Ice-Cream:

Boil milk until it is reduced to half its volume.
Add sugar and boil to till sugar dissolves.
Add custard powder and boil for a minute.
Add agar agar powder, stir and remove from heat.
Cool and add milk powder and mango pulp.
Beat the mixture well in a baking pan and allow it to freeze semi-set.
Take out from freezer and beat the frozen mixture until smooth.
Pour mixture to baking pan and cover it with foil freeze again.







STAWBERRY ICE CREAM

Ingredients for Strawberry Ice Cream:

Strawberry - 3 cup
Cream - 2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Strawberry essence - 1/2 teaspoon
Method for Strawberry Ice Cream:

Boil strawberries with little water till tender, cool and then blend to make puree.
Mix sugar in Pureed Strawberry, then beat in cream.
Add Strawberry essence and beat thoroughly.
Pour the mixture to a baking pan covered with foil and freeze until set.




CHOCOLOCATE ICE CREAM


Ingredients for Chocolate Ice Cream:

Chocolate - 2 Squares
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Evaporated milk - 3 cup
Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
Salt - A pinch
Method for Chocolate Ice Cream:

Scald the milk.
Dissolve the sugar in 1 cup of the scalded milk.
Pour sugar and milk mixture slowly over melted chocolate, stir constantly.
Add rest of the milk, salt and vanilla essence and freeze till semi-solid.
Take out from freezer and churn in mixer, then again put in freezer.
Enjoy chilled and creamy chocolate ice-cream.



PISTA ICE CREAM


Ingredients for Pista Ice cream:

Milk - 2 cup
Cream - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Corn flour - 2 tablesppon
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Yellow colour - 2 drops
Green colour - 2 drops
Crushed pistachios - 2 tablespoon
Method for Pista Ice cream:

Boil milk and add cornstarch dissolved in little water and cook till thick.
Add sugar, remove from the fire and cool it to room temperature.
Add vanilla essence and colors in it and beat it well for 5 minutes.
Add cream and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour or till it is semi-set.
Beat it again and add crushed pistachios in it, now again put in freezer.
Enjoy chilled and creamy pista ice-cream

why must we make ice-cream when we can always buy it?

Rolling Eyes .....waste of time and not good for health....when you make your own ice-cream, you tend to make a lot and eat a lot.

Just get one and eat it if you feel like eating ice-cream...pratical right? Razz

i agree with u mirugam...nowdays in busy life there no ones going to put an affect to do ice creams all..its just for our info...atleast u can proudly said to any1 that " i can do nice strawberry, manggo, pista n choco ice cream knw"!!! Laughing

Kulfi (Indian Ice-Cream)

Ingredients
6 cups creamy milk
9 cardamoms
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup chopped/sliced almond

Garnish
flakes of almond
cardamom seed


Preparation
1 Add Cardamom to milk and bring it to boil.

2 Reduce the heat and keep simmering the milk until it is reduced by one-third.

3 Take cardamom out of milk by using strainer.

4 Add almond and sugar.

5 Pour the mixture into container with lid.

6 Freeze until firm. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes.

7 Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving.
8 Serve by taking out of the container. Garnish with almond and cardamom seed as desired

Tips:
Use pan with large surface are to boil milk. it will help to boil milk faster due to evaporation.

While boiling/heating milk put a big spoon or ladle inside the milk. It will prevent milk from boiling over.

About:
Kulfi is a kind of Indian ice cream that contains delicate flavor of spice such as cardamom
