hi ladies and gentlemen,
nowadays we can see that we are surrounded by a lot teenagers and youth and even small kids whom lacking in morality section....talking about menace, rowdism, culturalessness, crime, and so on...
so what is/are your opinion of current state parenting and how can it be altered or improved?

LOVE......A good way to bring up our children is to love them moderately and shower them with attention, not gifts. Talk to them every day and discuss about their life eventhough the child is in pre-school.
Teach our child about hardship in life and refrain from giving in to their every single whimps. |

| kalau hendak melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya......sounds familiar anyone? Parents play an important role in educating their children.... and it has to start from young. When parents give in to every whims and wishes of their children the kids take advantage of the given situation. Teachings of everthing good and bad shud start from base. Communication is an important factor..... talk to ur kids... get to know their emotions and problems.... yes love is another form of communication...... show ur love for them...... i guess the toughest times for the kids r during teenage period where the outside influence is much more greater.....this is where parents have to play according to the situation....... |

just to add to the above, not just love but discipline too. If they are not disciplined from young, dont dream you can discipline when they are grown. Love is discipline, discipline is love. They go hand in hand.
