Hello human friends,

Vanakam. Om Namah Sivaya

[What is your opinion on this issue?

I 've seen some people taking leftovers from KFC and weddings to serve their pets.

How selfish human are. Animals should follow HINDRAF'S footstep soon.

Personally I dont think that is bad after all, infact the owner should be commended as he is thoughtful enough to bring home the leftover for his pet that will go to waste otherwise. Why waste? The dogs when you leave them roaming freely or take them walking will often pick up things from the street that is edible to them. And that could be far worse as its from the street. Some dogs will also help themselves from the rubbish bins etc. They are just being dogs. Remember the axiom: One man's leftover is another dog's food. Wink

Hi,

Being a pet pet lover myself, I never fed my dog any leftovers. I considere my pet as one of the family member. I cannot think about giving food to my darling puppy which is meant to be thrown away. My mum prepares food for my puppy everyday and we dont even feed canned pet food ,afraid if the food may contain preservatives or other harmful chemicals.

Thats how we treat our pet at home but I think feeding a hungry animal is a noble act. Say giving leftovers to strays...at least they get to eat something to ease their hunger.

to give KFC once in a while maybe ok.
canned food and fast food are not so good healthwise.
everyone knows that.

if there is an option, choose healthier food.

my dog could eat twisties, pau, apple, laddu and the list goes on.

I read somewhere that cooked food with salt and spices are bad for animals.

Personally i think giving leftovers for pets at home is not acceptable.
Pets are like our family members, so we wouldn't want to give them leftovers, would we?
