|
|
There are some who hold on to the Darwinian "evolution" theory where they say that all of us are here by evolution and particularly man is descended from the Apes since the Apes are the closest resemblance to humankind. They claim sceince as the basis of their theory. Equally there are those who insist on a creationist theory where they hold their fort that this whole Universe and everything in it is here as created by God. These claim religeon as the basis of their theory. What is your take in this great debate? _________________ Before you criticize someone, make sure you walk a mile in their shoes. I'm a bit sceptical with the "Adam and Eve" story....but i'm still searching for the answer... How our body with all the organs perfectly placed is created? Who actually created the body?...Where did the souls come from?
For now i think that we do evolve from apes. We must be the lucky ones or the cursed ones who are chosen to slowly become humans with extra abilities to destroy the earth.ha ha ha ....... |

Well , if we did descend from the apes, why are the apes still around? Shouldnt they all have become humans by now? _________________ Before you criticize someone, make sure you walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize, you're a mile away and you HAVE THEIR SHOES. |

Yes and even before that we descend from single cell organism that crawl out from the primordial soup. I think the bigger question is are we the exception or the norm. The concept of intelligence itself. I know that intelligence is a subjective matter but humans have this inate ability to manipulate their environment in ways other animals in this planet cant.
Humans also record their history in books and other forms of media in writen languages while the animal kingdom passes its memory through genetics....what is called genetic memory(which we also have). This ability allows us to learn better and faster...allows us to adapt faster.
I think the evolution of humans is something so complex that i dont think any scientist can even answer yet...what are the variables that create intelligent life. Are the variable so specific and rare that makes it a mathematical anomaly. Are humans merely lucky instances in this universe or are the variables of creating intelligent life not as far out and reachable. Are there any other intelligent life out there in the universe? Or are we really the lucky creations of the creator?
My belief is that the universe is so huge(inifinte some might say), that this mathematical anomaly might just be repeated somewhere far, far away. Or do you guys believe that God also created another alien species as intelligent as we humans?
PS : Roger Penrose's probability of life which is something like 10 power of 10 power of 123 to 1 is flawed as microbiologists today can atest that life is more common and very varying that it can survive in the most unlikeliest environments. _________________

Speechless? And this proves you descended from the apes?
