Ok folks..... LI has come up with a noble idea of doing charity for one of these charity houses. Our LI members revu and srimala had the opportunity to visit the below mentioned homes which r situated around kl and met the residents of these homes.....

a) PJ Saradha illam - there r 6 old ladies where most of them are referred by welfare home. The budget given by vivekananda mantram is only RM150.00. Infact one of the old ladies was pick up at the roadside.

b) PJ Vivekananda Shelter - got 5 old men,everyone has a sad story. There is one who is still good-looking n well-mannered.... infact very well spoken english ..... yet he was chased from the house by his children.

c) Anbu Illam in Taman Permata-nearby batu caves.-there are 25 boys-age group from 9-15 years old-they need volunteer teachers-espesially in computer-.

d)Karunai Illam No.1024 Jaln E4/7 Taman Ehsan - there are 14 girls-they need blender-plastic table-kdk fan (2)-gas stove-canon printer (black)24

However it looks like we r unable to give a helping hand to all these homes at once (i do hope we can though). So guys and gals.... let's give a helping hand to those in need......pour in ur ideas pls......

Feels so good that more and more Indians are beginning to help each other and getting the mood to do charity.

revu and srimala actually took the initiative to get the ball rolling..... so i hope everyone will give their input to make this project happen......and bring smiles all around us.... Smile

Guys, if finance is a problem, it is better for us to do some voluntary work instead and help them.

Like conducting a tuition class or something like that.
