hmmmmm......the young teenagers would prefer something personal......like fancy hairclips or make up stuffs...i guess so...
meanwhile, the kids would like toys or some fancy stationaries....or books |

I visited them yesterday, I have alrerady booked 7th June for "lunch" marking my husband's birthday. They have listed things that they are in need still.
Please take note:
Photocopy paper.. white, blue, green, pink, green and yellow( i can provide two rims of white paper)
Curry powder (I can provided 2 pckts of each Fish and Meat)
Sugar ( I can provide 5kgs)
Pails-6 (I can provide 3
Gam/Glue (2 dozen) (I can provide all)
Basket for Clothes 6
Table Cloth
Pattu Pavadai - for all the 12 kids plus tailoring charges
Binding Machine
Laminating Machine
Shoes - 12 pairs
Study Tables
Wall Clock 4 units

I asked them she said the school is asking them to do the scrap books and projects and for that they need binding machine.. but the lamination i dunno whylah.. i dun think so they need a laminating machine, do they?
Pattu pavadai is for the children.. it seems they go for thevaram pottis and have won medals... for for that lor.. i think its okay lah... padahal bukannye mahal sangat pun.. well I have gotten 2 or 3... i will give them lor.. maybe one of us can donate pattu sarees where they can stitch for themselves..i think one saree can make 2 pavadais...

1st of all...im confused !!!...lol..
what are pavadais and saree ???...wht are the differences ???..
ahh !!!...plz clarify me...
I thought pattu pavadais are costly clothings..which costs around 1k...
looks like im wrong...big time..lol...

pattu saree is the one long one like for wedding saree.
pattu pavadai suit is the one children wear (arnd 2 - 12 years old).
its more like long skirt n blouse. the material is similar to pattu saree. |

when they say pattu means material which looks like pattu.. a basic kanchipuram (original)pavadai will cost abt RM120-350 depends the design whereas the normal look alike one will cost abt RM20-RM60..
Am talking abt pavadai materials and not sarees..
there are many types and quality in sarees.. right from cheap ones to the most costly ones.....maybe we could meet up one day and i will personally elaborate abt the sarees and its qualities,bro
